This blog, written by Christopher Covington, began as a place to publish the findings of an independent study on the desktop fabrication of electrical and eventually semiconductor devices. As the Wikipedia article for the RepRap Project notes, printing its own electronics is the next step for the self-replicating rapid prototyping machine. My spring 2011 undergraduate research advised by Dr. Kathleen Meehan was aimed at furthering that goal.

I’m now working full time in a more software focused computer engineering position. Nevertheless I hope to pop in from time to time to comment on advancements in the field of the desktop fabrication of electrical and eventually semiconductor devices.
